Wonderful storytelling afternoon yesterday from @tales_of_britain_and_ireland at Centre for Folklore Myth & Magic #Todmorden. Retelling of one of my favourites ‘Dead Moon’. If you’re wondering what the old penny and grass mean - you’ll have to listen to the story!Had a lovely day around Knowsley Safari Park. Pity the lions were basking in the sun away from the route but saw some gorgeous beasts #knowsleysafariparkFinally planted my dads fire bucket with his (and my) favourite…Rosemary. Also planted an acer, two varieties of corkscrew hazels and crowned #Medusa with her living snakes #plantingseason #plants #acer #corkscrewhazel #sedummorganianum #happyplace #nature #gardening Finished the evening with a delicious Mediterranean chicken roast with #homemade fetaOur beautiful moorland ponies have graced us with 3 foals so far this season. Our sheep have been scaling the wall to come for a visit with their lambs #moorlandpony #moors #moorland #lambs #foalsRuth Shedwick
