In non-book news, won Manchester Tourism award for organising Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival – ‘Small Event of the Year 2012’. Small event is classed as under 50,000 visitors and our research says 25,000 visitors came to the 2012 Festival. WHOOP. In 2009, Paul Morris, owner of The Chocolate Cafe in Ramsbottom came up with the idea of a quality chocolate producers market. Collaborating with Paul is easy, we’re not ones to hold back, which means together, we’ve created a Festival that is totally unique. Each year I’ve put a different element into the mix and heading into our 5th year, I can promise that you won’t be disappointed. If you’ve not experienced the event, then set a date for your diary – 23 & 24 March 2013.

Wonderful storytelling afternoon yesterday from @tales_of_britain_and_ireland at Centre for Folklore Myth & Magic #Todmorden. Retelling of one of my favourites ‘Dead Moon’.
